Presentation on musicians

Mudra is organising a multimedia programme, ‘Ariyakkudi to Semmangudi,’ on June 3, 6 p.m. at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Main Hall, Mylapore.

It is based on the lives and contributions of 15 stalwarts — Ariyakkudi Ramanuja Iyengar, Maharajapuram Viswanatha Iyer, Madurai Mani Iyer, Alathur Brothers, Chembai Vaidyanatha Bhagavatar, G.N. Balasubramaniam, Musiri Subramanya Iyer, Maharajapuram Santhanam, M. L. Vasanthakumari, T. Brinda, M. D. Ramanathan, Voleti Venkateswarulu, D. K. Jayaraman, M. S. Subbulakshmi and Semmangudi Srinivasa Iyer.

Musicologist S.A.K. Durga will give expert comments on the stalwarts and the show will be presented by Radha Bhaskar.
