Bonanza for dancers
Two new talent hunts promise a bonanza of cash prizes and gifts for dancers who can set the floor on fire. ‘Super Dancer’ on Amrita TV and ‘Dhoom’ on Rosebowl is scouting for the best dancers in Kerala.
Starting May 28, Amrita TV’s ‘Super Dancer’ will showcase the competition rounds comprising the top 20 aspirants (12 girls and 8 boys) who were selected from 1,500 applicants across India
This band of talented youngsters in the 16 to 25 age group were handpicked by award-winning choreographer Kala Master.
The ‘Super Dancer’ winner bags a Maruti Suzuki Swift. ‘Super Dancer’ will be aired throughout the week in two time bands. It will be telecast on weekdays at 21.30 and on Saturday and Sunday at 20.00.
‘Dhoom Pro’
If ‘Dhoom’ was for college students, this time it’s for professionals. ‘Dhoom Pro’ pits 42 amazing dance professionals against each other for the ultimate showdown on the dance floor. The winner gets Rs. 1 lakh in cash. Gifts and prizes also await teams that enter the final round. The preliminary competition starts on June 13 on Rosebowl and it will be telecast from 21.00 to 22.00. The finale will be telecast live from Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium at Kochi on June 23.
