Will hero Sundar repeat his success? Veeraappu

Shooting was in full swing at the Kancheepuram railway station. On one side it was Sundar C. and on the other side it was Gopika waiting for the call.

Sundar has chosen to stand in front of the camera for Home Media Private Limited’s ‘Veeraappu.’

Badri directs the film produced by actor Krishnamurthy Vijayakumar and his actor wife Sujatha Vijayakumar. The couple has produced several serials for the small screen featuring Kushboo. Their latest production is ‘Lakshmi’ with Meena as the heroine.

Vijayakumar, a film institute product, has worked both before the camera in a few films and was behind it for more than 10 years.

After the shot, director Badri came over to explain that it was an emotion-filled story of a father and son. “The father is Prakash Raj and son is Sundar C. The emotional war between them is being told laced with love, sentiment and fights.

The storyline

Prakash Raj is a Maths genius. He wants his son to become great in Maths. But his son is interested in science.

The senior father uses force and the dejected son becomes a rebel. He meets Gopika, a teacher, and they fall in love with each other.

Sundar C. is hoping to repeat his success story with ‘Veeraappu.’

“I feel that the film has come out very well and I hope it clicks at the box office. All of us have worked hard and hope to see the film release in a big way.”

A cheerful Gopika said that she had a nice and powerful role in the film which will take her places.

The film has been shot in Tirunelveli, Kancheepuram and a few places in Chennai. Vivek is doing the comedy part with Santhanam.

Sumithra is doing a character role. D. Iman scores the music and camera is handled by K.S.Selvaraj.
