Cookery show revamped

Hosted by Mallika Badrinath, ‘Arusuvai Neram,’ the cookery show being aired on Jaya TV, Tuesdays, 18.30, gets a new look with three different interesting segments.

The first segment, Samayal Neram, will feature ways to prepare some of the lip-smacking recipes that are famous in other countires.

The second, Micro Oven Samayal, the much preferred one by homemakers, features ways to cook food on the microwave oven and the third segment, ‘Thideer Samayal,’ features recipes that can be made in a jiffy.

Airtel Super Singer
(Vijay TV, Friday and Saturday, 20.00)

The contest for Airtel super singer junior goes multi-fold.

With three kids being declared the finalists last week, the other children were once again given a chance to sing. The two top scorers among the six eliminated contestants will be the qualifiers for the wild card round. The result will be announced in the forthcoming week’s episode.

Also, the remaining four kids shall sing once again in front of the eminent judges Usha Uthup and Chitra.

The viewers will choose one out of the four to enter the wild card round.

Join Anu as she throws light on some interesting details in a face-to-face with actor Ramya Krishnan and choreographer Brinda.

Ramya started to act at the age of 13, first playing heroine to Y.Gee.Mahendra in ‘Vellai Manasu.’ A highlight in her acting career was her role as Nilambari in ‘Padaiyappa.’

Brinda speaks about how dancing has remained her greatest passion and how she draws inspiration from her mentor, Raghuram.
