Sri Thiagaraja Sangeetha Vidwath Samajam, Mylapore, (Ph: 24982270), will perform the Maha Kumbhabishekam of Sadguru Sri Thiagaraja Temple on June 17, 5 a.m. and Muthusekara Sivachariar will head the ritual. Eminent musicians will render a few Tyagaraja kritis on the occasion. At 6 p.m., Needamangalam V. Alamelu and V. Subbaraman will present ‘Sri Tyagaraja Vaibhavam,’ a harikatha programme. Sanjay Subramaniam’s vocal concert on June 18, 6 p.m. and a violin duet by T. Rukmini and Amrita Murali on June 19, 6 p.m. are also on the agenda.
