Arokyavin Jackpot, the game show aired on Jaya TV, Sunday, 20.00, reaches its 250th episode. In an attempt to make it more special, the show, to be telecast o n June 24, will have celebrities from the tinsel world as two teams, who will play against each other to win the jackpot.

Actors Suhasini, Kasturi, Y.Gee.Mahendra and director Susi Ganesan will play against music director Ramesh Vinayagam, singers Srinivas, Anuradha Sriram and Swarnalatha.

Tyagaraja Utsavam

Stay tuned to Jaya TV to watch Tyagaraja utsavam celebrated recently at Cleveland, U.S.

Beginning from June 25 the event will be aired for the next ten days on the channel, weekdays, at 6.30 a.m. The programme encores the same day at 5.30 p.m.

The programme features concerts of Sudha Ragunathan, Aruna Sairam and other leading musicians besides giving some interesting facts about the U.S.

Ettukku Ettu

The channel rolls out interesting programmes on weekdays.

This week’s special is ‘Ettukku Ettu’ featuring eight short segments that deal with a bit of everything from cinema to politics with a focus on current affairs.

As the name suggests, ‘Muchchandhi,’ a satirical segment, will feature an analysis of the happenings around the city which will be discussed at an intersection by three characters.

‘Thandora,’ gives the profile of a personality or first-hand information about an incident.

‘Kaathamuthu Kavirayan,’ is for those who love poetry. Various social anomalies will be expressed in the form of a poem.

‘Kurukkum Nedukkum,’ ‘Periyorgale Thaaimargale,’ ‘Vikata Nimidam,’ ‘Makkal Manasu’ and ‘Ivar Kaattula Mazhai’ are the other segments featured in the programme.
