Rare concert series

Swar Sagar, a six-city Karnataka tour of artiste, Pravin Godkhindi is all set to take off this August, starting with Mysore.

The highlight of the concert is that for the first time, three generations of a family will be playing the flute together, according to a release.

The concerts open on August 4 in Mysore, moves to Shimoga on August 26, Mangalore on September 29, Manipal on September 30 and finally the grand finale in Bangalore on October 13.

The concert in Mysore will be at the Jaganmohan Palace at 6.30 p.m. and will also feature Godkhindi’s famed fusion band Krishna. Tickets are priced at Rs. 99, Rs. 199 and Rs. 299. For details call 080-64519707/ 99001-49707.
