Maha Ganapathi homam

The annual month-long Maha Ganapathi homam, performed in the Tamil month of Aadi, is being conducted from Monday last, at Sri Muthannaval Samadhi premises at Sengalipuram in Tiruvarur district.

Sri Advarapathy Dikshithar, hailing from the family of the late Anantharama Dikshithar, exponent in religious discourses and a vedic scholar of Sengalipuram, said that many eminent vedic scholars will participate in this yagna and other pujas and homams including Dharana Saraswathi Mahamanthra Japa homam, Medha Sooktha japam, etc., at Sengalipuram till August 18.
