Monsoon fest

Banyan Tree Events, a cultural organisation is presenting “All India Barkha Ritu Rains and Ragas festival 2007” in five cities across India namely Hyderabad, Pune, Delhi, Bangalore and Mumbai.

The All India monsoon classical music festival will also feature other legends from across India; Pt. Shivkumar Sharma, Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia, Pt. Satyasheel Deshpande, Pt. Chhannulal Mishra, Pt. Bhavani Shankar who will create the magic of monsoon melodies in their own inimitable style.

Banyan Tree Events for over a decade specialises in world-class presentations dedicated to promote traditional, rare and popular Indian performing arts across the country.

All India Barkha Ritu Rains & Ragas 2007 at Bangalore will feature Pt. Vishwamohan Bhatt on the Mohan Veena, Ustad Rashid Khan (vocal) and Master Shashank on the Flute. The performance will held on July 28 at 7 p.m. at Chowdiah Memorial Auditorium. Donor passes are available at Landmark, Music World and Planet M.
