New soap on Vijay

Vijay TV rolls out a new mega serial, ‘Madurai,’ from July 30, Mon – Thurs, 20.30. Produced by Touring Talkies and directed by Gerald the programme will highlight all that is unique and special to the place such as temples, culture and customs.

Shot completely in Madurai, the series portrays a long drawn family feud, and how the family gets united because of a romance. The cast includes Senthil, Vadivukkarasi, Mura and Thennavan.

Dr. Rajasekar and Jeevitha Rajasekar will be the special guests for this week’s show.

Introduced by Bharatiraaja in ‘Pudhumai Penn,’ Rajasekar’s talents came to be noticed after ‘Idhuthanda Police.’ Jeevitha was introduced by Vijaya T.Rajender. She has acted in both Tamil and Telugu films.Her latest directorial venture is, ‘Udambu Eppadi Irukku,’ in which her husband plays the lead role.
