Acting it out

Amrita TV’s talent hunt for the ‘Best Actor’ seeks to find a person between the ages of 18 and 35 who is best suited to wear the crown of ‘Best Actor.’

A nation-wide preliminary screen test will be conducted at Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Thrissur and Thiruvananthapuram, by a jury comprising film makers and artists who will assess the acting prowess of the contestants.

Those selected will then attend a workshop conducted by actors and filmmakers to help hone their acting skill.

These contestants will then compete for the title through a public voting system (SMS) once the programme goes on air.

The winner will get a free trip to Hollywood and will be offered an opportunity to star in a Malayalam movie.

The runner-up bags a scholarship to pursue a course in acting from a reputed institute.
