CD released

The 78th jayanti of Sri Sathguru Swami Gnanananda Sarasvathi of Sri Gnana Advaitha Peetam, T. Nagar, was celebrated and a function was held in this connection at the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Mylapore, on July 26.

Swami Gnananda Sarasvati released a CD containing a collection of her lectures (Volume 2). This has simple doctrines, reminders and daily prayers on a variety of subjects. In her address, the Swami dwelt at length on the concept of Saranagati, quoting copiously from the Bhagavad Gita.

As a fitting finale came the soulful vocal rendering of Vijay Siva.
