Music festival



In Memory Lalitha Ubhayaker is the driving force behind the festival

The 21st edition of the Devnandan Ubhayaker Yuva Sangeet Utsav, started in 1987 in memory of the late Devnandan Shivaram Ubhayaker is being held on August 11 and 12. The Utsav is a platform to showcase and nurture young and emerging talent in the fie ld of classical music and features artistes who are less than 25 years old. On August 11, Bheemanna Jadav performs at 6.15 p.m., followed by Sonali Sinha Biswas at 7.45 p.m.

On August 12, Sundarnath performs on the sitar at 10 a.m., followed by Samarth Nagarkar at 11.45 a.m.

The evening session features Gayatri Vairagkar at 6 p.m., followed by Kumar Mardur at 7.45 p.m.
