Doctors in love!

Remember Sanjeevani, a serial revolving around the stories of a bunch of doctors. Now the same production house is coming up with a new series Dill Mill Gayye, a medical drama following the lives of five first yea r surgical interns. Starting August 20, the connecting link is Mohnish Behl who was part of the earlier series as well.

He is back


Sonu Nigam returns to Indian Idol this week as the celebrity judge. Sonu has been on the panel of judges for the last two seasons. This is going to be his first television appearance after he made allegations against a journalist about the casting, oops, writing couch.

It would also be an opportunity for Emon Chatterjee, one of the participants who has moulded himself like Sonu, to come face to face with the original.

Lara on a mission


MTV Networks in Asia and the Pacific and the MTV Europe Foundation have launched youth-focused anti-human trafficking campaign “MTV Exit”. The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is funding the programme. Our very own Lara Dutta has joined the campaign and she will present “MTV Exit” documentary programmes that are supposed to reach 380 million households.

High on music


Building on the phenomenal success of “High School Musical”, Disney Channel has stepped up its efforts in localisation for the highly-anticipated sequel “High School Musical 2” and its soundtrack. In India, the whole soundtrack will be re-recorded by Bollywood artistes in Hindi, and will replace the English soundtrack in the movie. In addition, the sequel to the global hit, “High School Musical 2” will be available in eight local languages across the region, which will premiere on Disney Channel starting from September 9.
