Loka Dharma Seva Foundation (LDSFT), Chennai-10, conducts discourses every month on Sivarathri day, 7 p.m., at Agatheeswarar Velveeswarar Sivan Temple, Arcot Road, Valasaravakkam. Every Sunday, 6.30 p.m., at the same temple, Namasankirtanam is presented by Chaitanya.

The 22nd anniversary of Youth Association for Classical Music, being held at Srinivasa Shastri Hall, Luz, concludes on August 19. Prof. T.V. Gopalakrishnan will be the chief guest at the valedictory at 6 p.m., and Jayalakshmi Santhanam, the Guest of Honour. M.R. Subramanian’s vocal recital will follow.
