CDs released

Songs on Durga.

Digital Audio has released ‘Innamudam Paruga Varungal,’ a compact disc containing songs on Durga, composed by Tirukkurungudi Thiruvenkatavalli and sung by her son, Delhi Prakash (KJSP, 9382894972).

An address by Pithukuli Murugadas, who released the CD at a function held at Sivananda Foundation Divine Soviety, precedes the songs melodiously rendered.

‘Kandakottam,’ as the title suggests, is a garland of hymns dedicated to Lord Muruga rendered by T.V.Sundaravalli and her disciple K. Bhavya. The composers include Dhandapani Swamigal, Vallalar, Pamban Swamigal and so on. The album has been produced by Valayapati Ra. Krishnan (28474468) and sponsored by Thiruppugazh Sangamam.
