D.K.Pattammal Award of Excellence – N.Bhairavi and N.Malavi; Kartik Rajagopal Golden Jubilee Award – R.Krishnaswami, secretary, Narada Gana Sabha; Sirkazhi Govindarajan Memorial Award – Thanjavur Sankara Iyer. The awards will be given away on three appropriate occasions — at the inauguration of the 33rd art festival at the Narada Gana Sabha on the inauguration of the 12th Tamil Isai Vizha at Valliammal College for Women silver jubilee hall, in December and on the first day of the dance festival in January, 2008, at the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Main Hall.
