Funds needed

The 100-year old temple of Sri Venugopalaswamy in Thillaiambur, Thanjavur District, needs funds for daily puja to be conducted. The temple that was in a dilapidated state was renovated with donations from philanthropists and devotees and samprokshana m performed in 2005.

Sree Venugopalaswamy Trust, which looks after the affairs of the temple is short of funds to even pay the priest his salary. The Trust appeals for donations through bank transfers to help run the temple.
