Reminiscence

A function in memory of R. Visweswaran, a pre-eminent santoor player, vocalist, composer, husband of Chitra Visweswaran, will be held on September 2, at 10 am, at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan (main auditorium), Mylapore, Chennai.

Mathaji Vithamma will release Anthardhwani – song of the soul a twin CD carrying Pandit R. Visweswaran’s santoor concert and vocals compositions for dance. Pandit Shivkumar Sharma, Y.G. Parthsarathy, M.S. Viswanathan and Prof C.V. Chandrasekhar will share their thoughts.

Disciples of R.Visweswaran and Chitra Visweswaran will offer homage through music and dance.
