Ramzan programmes on Kairali

Kairali Channel brings its viewers a host of programmes this Ramzan.

Start the day on a musical note with ‘Devarajan Special’ at 8.30 a.m. Enjoy the comedy flick ‘Thalayina Mantram’ at 10.30 a.m.

‘Isal Pookal - A travel through the Ramzan Heritage of Kerala’ at 13.30 features the way the festival is celebrated at various places in the State. Catch what’s cooking in ‘Nomputhura’ at 18.25. ‘Ramzan Mix’ at 16.30 is a potpourri of all previous Ramzan Specials telecast by the channel.

Catch the action of ‘Ramzan Nilavu,’ which will be telecast live from Tirur, at 18.30 on October 13 on People. It will be a blend of music, skits, dance and cultural programmes.

Kairali channel celebrates the Navaratri festival by paying homage to senior artistes in the fields of music, dance, theatre, cinema and letters. The programmes will be telecast from October 12 to 20. Kalamandalam Gopi, Chemancherry Kunjuraman Nair, Pookatiri Diwakar Poduval, Paimkulam Damodara Chakyar, Kalamandalam Kshemavathy, T.E. Vasudevan, Janardhanan Nedungadi, Thiruvizha Jayashankar and Kudumalur Janardhanan will appear in this programme.

Asianet’s Ramzan specials

Asianet will celebrate Id ul Fitr on October 13 with a variety of programmes. Three films will be telecast on that day – ‘Mithunam’ at 9.00, ‘Daivanamathil’ at 12.30 and ‘Pandipada’ at 16.30. Ramazan songs at 7.00 will be followed by special programmes. Take a trip through film star Dileep’s home town at 11.30.

Amrita TV’s programmes for Ramzan

To cater to its wide cross-section of audience all over the world, Amrita TV has lined up day-long programmes that will appeal to various segments of viewers. The programme menu comprises heritage, movies, ghazals, musicals, and stage event shows.

The day begins with a special edition of ‘Udayamritam,’ a one-hour programme at 6.30. This will be followed by ‘Ghazal Ramzan Special’ at 8.00 and super hit movie ‘Kana Kanden’ at 9.30.

The grand finale of Amrita TV’s ‘Super Dancer’ will be telecast again at 13.30. A series of movie and music-based programmes such as ‘Celebrity Antakshari,’ ‘Ramzan Chandrikayil,’ ‘Music Train’ and ‘Movie Bazaar’ will be telecast in the evening.

A special Ramzan edition of the ongoing show ‘Super Dancer Junior,’ to be aired at 18.30, will showcase the final 15 contestants who have been shortlisted for the show. At 22.30, tune in to a song and dance extravaganza featuring performances by participants of the various reality shows on Amrita TV. ‘Super Star’ Sangeeth and runner-up, Job, ‘Super Star Junior’ Alsabith and runner-up, Pradheesh, ‘Super Dancer’ runner-up, Anish, and second runner-up, Shamna and Shanker and singers like Ajay and Mridula and Nidheesh will participate in the show.
