Live mimicry

Our own version of Charlie Chaplin is ready to come to town. A mime show ‘Indian Mr. Bean’ by Mime Kaladhar is going to be held at People’s Plaza on Necklace Road on Sunday (October 14). Mr. Bean is a popular, familiar figure on ‘Pogo’ channel. He can have not just the kids but also the elders in splits. The hilarious character is all set to entertain his Hyderabadi audience with his pranks and in live. Mime Kaladhar has 6,500 performances to his credit not just in India but also abroad. He has set the Limca Book of Records on fire in the year 1993. Watching him can be exhilarating.

Thus God came….

The basic core and content of the works of artist Ananda Kishore Singha centres around his exploration of the harmonious and peaceful existence. The Buddha predominates the artist’s idea of expression. His presence with meditative benevolence and soothing eternal grace makes a marked impression. ‘Thus the God came to the flower’ an exhibition of his paintings on a single theme are created with rich vegetation, twigs and lush lotus blooms. Gallery Hasta is holding a preview today (October 12) at 6.00 p.m. The exhibition is on till October 21.
