Mystery unfolds

For all the fans of sci-fi, there is good news. Star World has come up with a new show ‘Eureka.’ It’s about how government has been secretly relocating the world’s geniuses and their families to the Pacific Northwest town of E ureka. In this mystery land, daily life straddles the line between the absurd and the ridiculous. From unrequited love to professional jealousy, from addiction to depression, the problems of Eureka’s townsfolk grow from the myriad of life’s everyday challenges.

But with the population’s unique talents, troubled psyches and limitless resources, these small-town concerns have a way of becoming big-time problems.

World movies

Tired of Bollywood and Hollywood? Here is an option. UTV is launching a channel that will show only world cinema. Shantonu Aditya, chief executive officer, V&S Broadcasting, says, “It is the first of its kind channel dedicated to contemporary world cinema.”
