Dramatic phase

The winner of Best Actor will win a trip to Hollywood.

Best Actor on Amrita TV, on weekdays at 21.00

Amrita TV’s talent hunt to discover the Best Actor has been on air for over six weeks now and now it enters an exciting and dramatic phase .

Audiences will now be seeing innovative acting rounds such as ‘Slice of Life,’ where each contestant will go out and don the role of real-life characters such as vegetable vendors, ice-cream sellers, street magicians and so on.

The participants will have to mask their real identities and earn money. This will be captured by candid camera and presented to Amrita TV audiences in the forthcoming episodes.

Likewise, there is a ‘Newspaper Round’ wherein every contestant has to select a current affairs subject from a newspaper and convert it into a skit to recreate the message in a dramatic metaphor. Another round comprises contestants forming groups for transforming a short story into a theatre style presentation .

All the contestants who have been undergoing rigorous training workshops as part of the show are endeavouring to bring alive real-time scenarios on the mini screen. The winner will get a free trip to Hollywood.

The programme is telecast on weekdays at 21.00
