Hasya mela

Antaranga, an amateur theatre group is presenting the Haasya Mela 2007. They have been organising this for the last six years.

This year, the theme of the two-day festival is Naguvigeke Ration, and is a tribute to Gubbi Veeranna and journalist and humourist Y.N.K. (Krishnamurthy).

The event will be inaugurated by Hirannaiah and C.R. Simha on November 17 at 5.30 p.m. and on November 18 between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. at H.N. Kalakshetra, premises of National College, Jayanagar.

Theatre patrons can look forward to “Sadarame” from Hirannaiah Mitra Mandala.

Among participants are Narahari Dixit, Sundarashree, R. Srinath, and Achuta Rao Padaki.
