Weekend music


Sursagar, the Hindustani Music organisation, is presenting its 26th anniversary with a two-day Hindustani Sangeet, which commences on November 16, 6.30 p.m. at Chowdiah Memorial Hall.

The event will feature a vocal concert by Kaushiki Chakrabarty with Kushal Das on sitar on November 16. The second day S.C.R. Bhat will be felicitated after which Hariprasad Chaurasia will perform along with Yogesh Samsi on tabla, Vyasmurti Katti on harmonium and Gurumurthy Vaidya on tabla.
