Honouring L.R.Easwari

‘Pattathu Rani,’ a special musical event in honour of singer L.R.Easwari, will be held on December 9, 6 p.m., at Kamarajar Arangam. Y.Gee. Melody Makers will present an evening of the singer’s hits.

Besides Prasanna, Madhuvanti, Saindhavi, Ananthu and ‘Kovai’ Murali, the list of singers includes A.L.Raghavan, Malathy Laxman, Suchitra, Kavitha from Madurai (whose voice matches L.R. Easwari’s to a T), and T.M.S.Balraj.

Y.Gee. Mahendra and ARS are the emcees of the evening. T.M. Soundararajan, S.Janaki, P.Suseela, Manorama and Sachu will be the special invitees who will felicitate L.R.Easwari. Mrs. YGP presides.
