The new serial is a tale of two friends, Gouri and Urmila, whose friendship is put to the test by circumstances and fate. The two roommates were thick friends in college. They meet after many years and realise that things have changed a great deal. Will their friendship survive the stress and strain of familial ties and tension?
Will Gouri and Urmila overcome the hurdles in their relationship caused by Urmila’s marriage to Gouri’s father, Setumadhavan. The serial unfolds a story of conflict, pathos and romance.
Directed by Sudheesh Shankar, the serial stars Poornima, Chandra Lakshman, Riza Bawa, Anand and Prabha Sankar among others.
Change in timings
The popular ‘Super Duper’ show on Sun TV, which was being telecast on Sundays, 21.00, can now be viewed on Saturdays, 20.30. Anchored by Vijay Adhiraj and directed by Venky, the programme has artists resembling famous actors featuring in song sequences. ‘Yesteryear actors’ dancing to today’s songs and vice versa, comprises an interesting segment.
A lot of hard work that includes rigorous rehearsals goes into the making of ‘Super Duper.’ This Sri Abhirami Vision production has artists from Kerala and Andhra Pradesh coming down to Chennai to take part in the show. Don’t miss the Saturday evening treat from Sun!
