Celebrating Meera

Sri Sachidanand Sakshi Satsang Mandal, which recently celebrated its 61st anniversary at New Delhi’s Shah auditorium, staged an absorbing ballet on the life and teachings of Meerabai. The ballet focused on the crucial phases of the life of Meera, starting from her childhood days to the phase where she is liberated from the fetters of attachment and is blessed with sublime union with Lord Krishna. A huge throng witnessed the ballet.

The Mandal, founded by Gurudev Sri Sachidanand Sakshi Gurumaji, propagates the teachings of Vedanta and works for the benefit of the society. It is currently under the guidance of Guru Anshi Didimaji.

The celebrations started with a video film on Sri Sachidanand Gurumaji, which was followed by a dance performance by the members of the organisation. Well known singer Kamalcharanji rendered soulful bhajans that kept the audience spellbound. There was also a discourse by Guru Anshi Shri Didimaji on the occasion.
