Colours to unite

An exhibition featuring British artists at Studio Vasant.

From Britain A visitor at the event

Just recently, Studio Vasant and N.R.I Institute joined hands to organise an exhibition of paintings. A group show “Cracking Spot” that featured nine British artists, included famous names like Graham Clarke, an artist, printmaker and hum orist, James Horton who is known for his excellent oil on canvas creations, Nick Tidman who was elected to the Royal Society of British Arts in 2001 and many more.

The exhibition had, obviously, a multi-culture approach. If Graham brought smiles on many faces by blending rural India’s past and present history in his typical comic style, Horton’s bright colours explained his “colourful connection” to India.

The recently concluded exhibition was specifically meant to “bind India and Britain through art and culture,” as Bajjit Chaddha, Director, Studio Vasant put it.
