A college fest that keeps its promise of entertainment.

Inverta 2008, a cultural programme organised by P.B. Sidhardha BBM College, consisted mainly of pop music, dances and some lively chatter by radio jockeys. The programme enthralled the large gathering of youth. The mayor of the city, Mallika Begum, inaugurated the programme. This is the season of annual day celebrations for most educational institutions in the city.
A notable shift in the college fests nowadays is towards trendy clothing, film music and dances among the students rather than traditional folk lore. However, it was a relief to find some scope for traditional dances and classical music in Inverta 2008. The students also took to the ramp sporting both traditional and up-to-the-minute trendy garments during the fashion show conducted by Usha and Mamata.
In the program organised by BBM, dances, fashion shows and instrumental music were presented. Anoop and Devendra played the pads and piano with expertise eliciting spontaneous applause from the audience. The group dances directed by Ankita, Munesh and Nikita were lively and in sync with film songs. The songs were from films like Bhool Bhulaiyya and Aaja Nachle.
