Sri Narayana Tirtha Aradhana Celebrations Committee, Thirupoonthuruthi, is conducting the saint’s 262nd aradhana at Sri Narayana Tirtha Brindavanam, Thirupoonthuruthi, on February 12, 4.45 p.m.
Veda parayanam by Tiruvaiyaru Sri Raja Dikshitar will take place at 8.30 a.m., ‘Biksha Vandhanam’ inauguration by Damal Ramakrishnan at 9.15 a.m., followed by Tirumurai by Sankara Swamy Thirumadam Bajanai Group at 9.30 a.m. After Sai bhajan at 9.50 a.m. and Vishnu Sahasranama parayanam at 11.25 a.m., Chennai Amritavahini group will render namasankeertanams at 2.45 p.m.
T. Jyothi Ramachandra Rao will light the kuthuvilakku at 4.45 p.m. and V. Jayaraman will inaugurate. B. Udayalakshmi Ramanakumar, IAS, Addl. Secy., Dept. of Horticulture, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh will be the guest of honour. T.S.Ramachandra Rao, chairman, Narayana Tirtha Yatheendra Trust, Guntur, will deliver the presidential address. T.M.Krishna will give a concert at 6 p.m. followed by Sangeetha Sivakumar at 7 p.m. and Upanyasam and Laya Raga Sangamam.
The next day, Gayathri Venkatraghavan, K. Sathyanarayana (keyboard) will give concerts at 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. respectively. Sudha Seshayyan will give a discourse, followed by bhajan by Udayalur Kalyanarama Bagavathar. On Thursday, Radha Kalyanam will take place at 9.15 a.m., followed by prize distribution. Sreyas Narayanan and Dr. R.Ganesh will give concerts at 4.30 p.m. and 5.15 p.m. respectively. This will be followed by discourse and harikatha. Anjaneya Utsavam will take place at 9.15 p.m.
