Directed by Venkat, this comedy serial, being aired from April 14, portrays small day-to-day incidents that happen in a family, with a humorous touch.
In this week’s episode: Shankar’s CEO expresses his desire to visit the former’s family. The jubilant Shankar shares this piece of news with his wife who refuses to be there when his boss arrives.
Left with no choice, Shankar approaches his neighbour, Majumdar, and then his servant maid, to act as his wife when his boss drops in. But both turn down his proposal.
Before Shankar could plan an alternative, the CEO arrives, so also his neighbour and his servant maid, to act as Shankar’s wife.

Janaki and Balaji are going to be man and wife soon. But the whole scenario changes due to a fire accident in which Balaji loses his elder brother.
His family calls off the marriage and seeks another alliance. But Balaji wishes to marry Janaki and approaches her.
Janaki’s parents advise her to marry Balaji and emotionally threaten her when she turns down their suggestion. Eventually, Janaki changes her mind, agrees to marry Balaji and sets out to meet him. Meanwhile, Balaji decides to marry Malathi for the sake of his parents.

‘Movie No.1,’ aired on Jaya TV, Sundays, 10.30 a.m., reaches its 400th episode this week. The show is revamped to make it more interesting for the viewers.

As many as 32 pairs were chosen in the selection rounds conducted in Tiruchi, Madurai, Coimbatore and Chennai.
Following the introductory round, which ended this past week, the contestants will move on to the ‘Western round’ this week.
Out of the seven pairs in this round, only four will reach the next level. Stay tuned to find out the pairs to be eliminated this week.
