Padmabhushan Manna De, the legendary Bollywood singer will perform May 10, 2008, 7 p.m. at the Chowdiah Memorial Auditorium, Bangalore. It will be “Once in a Lifetime Experience” for his fans as he will take them on a “musical journ
ey through 65 years” along with Ameen Sayani, the Golden Voice of Radio. The “evergreen versatile” legend Manna De will sing and also converse with Ameen Sayani, about Bollywood 1943 to 2008. Together they will walk down memory lane. The legendary pair will reminiscence the golden musical era of Suraiya, Raj Kapoor, Bimal Roy, Shanker Jaikishan, Sachin Dev Burman, Rahul Dev Burman, Mehmood, Mohammed Rafi, Hemant Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle, and Kishore Kumar.
