Yuva Puraskar
Sangeet Natak Akademi recently announced Yuva Puraskar instituted last year in the name of famed Shehnai maestro Ustad Bismillah Khan.
This award (Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar), which carries a purse of Rs. 25,000, is given to artists below 35 years of age with the objective to identify and encourage outstanding young talents in diverse fields of performing arts.
K.S.R. Anirudha has been selected for the category: Music for Dance Bharatanatyam, Mridangam, for the year 2007.
