Films like “Ganda Hendathi” and “Varasudhaara” did nothing to boost the career of model cum actress Sanjana aka Archana Galrani. She is determined to prove her mettle. She has already moved to Telugu films by bagging a big offer like Prahas-Thrisha starrer “Bujjigaadu Made In Chennai” directed by Puri Jagannath, but Sanjana feels that her real test of stability is in Kannada films. Sanjana is now selected to play the lead in “Ee Sanje”, directed by Orata director Sree. It will be launched on May 22. Sree promises that Sanjana will be featured in a totally different role .

Ganesh will have a new heroine in his film “Sangama” which had a low key launch on May 14 in Bangalore. Music arranger Ravi Verma is turning director with this film to be produced by S.V. Babu of “Honeymoon Express” and “Tenali Rama” fame. Glamorous Vedhika who has done a few Tamil and Telugu films has been chosen as the heroine of this film. This new film of Ganesh is notable for another reason. Telugu film industry’s hot shot music director Devi Sreeprasad is composing songs for this film.

Meanwhile Ganesh has just finished the shooting of his film “Bombaat”, produced by Rockline Venkatesh and directed by D. Rajendra Babu. In this film, Ramya is paired with Ganesh. Mano Murthy has composed music for this film for which songs have been shot in Switzerland, Germany and Austria.

After working in over150 films as an actor and working in more than a 100 films as a music director, Kannada film industry’s multi-faceted personality Kokila Sadhu still yearns for film direction. “Directing films is the most satisfying job, I know I can earn more by just acting in films, but in my heart I have always felt that it is my director’s work which can be more exciting and satisfying,” says Sadhu. Sadhu became a director from Upendra starrer “Raktha Kanneru” and has been extremely busy since then.

“I have always believed that hard work will pay sooner or later. I concentrate more while directing a film and I will be full of energy when I make film with big stars. I would rather face more challenges as a director than to focus mainly on acting which is more remunerative to me” says Sadhu. Despite being a busy actor, Sadhu prefers working behind the camera. He is presently directing his new film “Theertha” with Sudeep in the lead.

Sadhu has many films lined up for him including a film with Vishnuvardhana to be produced by Rockline Venkatesh. “Working with a big star like Vishnu sir is a real challenge. I would like to make film which will be another milestone is Vishnu sir’s career. It will be an action thriller, but the film would have a universal appeal,” says Sadhu.

Darshan is the biggest hit of this year and he is now flooded with big offers. He is all set to work in a new film to be produced by Ramesh Yadav. The film will be directed by a young director Raghuraj who belongs to the Telugu film industry. Darshan has also signed another film for producer Bala Reddy which will be directed by Mahesh Babu. Presently, Darshan is busy completing “Arjun” directed by Sahuraj Shinde and “Navagraha” directed by his brother Dinakar Darshan.
