Play Children learn and have fun through a theatre workshop.

A 12-day Summer Talent and Theatre workshop, conducted by theatre personality Sita Raina, introduced children between 9 and 16 years to Indian theatre and culture.
They were involved in activities like acting on camera, drawing, painting, yoga and meditation. It was organised by Radisson Hotel, Delhi. The objective of the workshop was to build confidence, teamwork and communication skills in children.
The summer workshop culminated with an enthusiastic performance “In your Elements” by the children at the hotel’s Surya Mahal. Directed by Sita Raina, it was a sensitive performance, which created awareness on the importance of the environment, its restoration and rescue. The play was proof of the rigorous efforts of the children, and their spontaneity and confidence took everyone by surprise.
Hidden advantages
The experience also helped the children to hone their skills in communication, pronunciation, diction, and punctuation. But more importantly it brought forth their hidden talent. An introduction to Indian theatre helped familiarise them with their roots.
