Pyramid Saimira Productions launched a new series, ‘Super Sundari,’ exclusively for kids, to be aired on Kalaignar TV, 17.30, on weekdays.
Already on air from June 16, the serial provides comedy, action and drama.
Uma Riaz, Nalini, ‘Oorvambu’ Lakshmi, Vasu Vikram, ‘Lollu Sabha’ Saminathan, ‘Crazy’ Kumar, Alex Pandian and talented child artists star in this serial directed by Mohan.

The programme serves as a platform for small merchants and industrialists to market their products across the state through a 30-second classified advertisement, in audio-visual format.
Also featured are information and market-tips such as free offers, tourist information, discounts, product launches, etc.

Airtel Super Singer 2008
The hunt for the best voice of Tamil Nadu is back on Vijay TV. The audition for this state wide hunt is being conducted this month. The winner of this year’s Airtel Super Singer title gets an opportunity to sing to the music composed by the young music director, Yuvan Shankar Raja. For Chennai contestants, video booths will be set up at various vantage points and retail outlets across the city, from June 22 to 26 from 10.30 a.m. onwards.Video Booths at Bharti Airtel Ltd (M 75/3, Annanagar East, near K4 police station), Spencers (GN Chetty Road), Adyar Anandha Bhavan (No.9 MG Road Shastri Nagar, Adyar) will be set up from June 22 to 26. At Abirami Mega Mall (152, Purasawallkam High Road) June 23 to 26 to enable the participants record their voice and gain entry to the auditions.
In addition to this, Airtel mobile subscribers who have missed to call 543212727 from their Airtel mobile phones, will be given another chance to walk in for the auditions that will be held on June 27 at Mayor Sri Ramanathan Chettiar Center, 75/2, Santhome High Road, R.A.Puram, Chennai - 600028 from 8 a.m. For more information log on to www.vijay.indya.com.
Playback singers Prashanthi, Rajalakshmi and Vinaya will be the judges for the preliminary rounds during the ground auditions at Chennai. Only 15 talented contestants will proceed to the finals. Out of 900 aspirants, 16 from Coimbatore and 15 from Tiruchi have been chosen for the next level.

As part of Jaya TV’s ‘Kaalai Malar’ show that begins at 6.30 a.m., film comedian Singamuthu will present ‘Dinasiri,’ in which he will share his funny experiences on the sets, and with actors. Clippings of comedy scenes will also be shown.
Hello Doctor
(Jaya Plus, weekdays, 10.30) To create awareness on various health issues and provide proper guidance, the channel will telecast a one hour show from Monday to Saturday. In the initial segments, live interaction with viewers over phone, and also between the public directly from various hospitals and the doctor in the studio have been envisaged. On Fridays and Saturdays specialists from various fields will interact with viewers. Details and contact numbers will be scrolled on Jaya TV an hour before the show.
