Tuned to each other

‘Perfect couple’ will test how well couples know each other.

New show on ACV:‘Perfect Couple.’

ACV’s new show called ‘Perfect couple’ made its debut on Thursday. Anchored by Kalpana, the show has couples from all over Kerala competing with each other for the title of the ‘perfect couple.’

“I have participated as a judge in many reality shows but this one is different and very special. Usually, we see parents pushing their children to participate, compete and go all out to win a prize.

“But here it is the other way around. Some of the couples told me that it was their children who encouraged them to participate,” coos Kalpana.

“In fact, I would call it a show for ‘perfect children.’ When we see elderly parents being dumped by some children, here are many children who encourage their parents to live life to the full,” she adds.

Compatibility factor

Produced by Rajesh Kadamba, ‘Perfect Couple’ will comprise several rounds that will the compatibility of the couples and see how well they know each other.

“We might ask the contestants the name of the first film they watched together or the date of their wedding anniversary and so on,” says Rajesh.

“There was no age limit for the contestants. Our participants are between the ages of 18 and 58,” adds Rajesh.

While the initial rounds will see Kalapana doubling up as the anchor and the judge, the latter rounds will have celebrities also as judges. Sponsored by Chungathu Prince Jewellery, the winner will get 25 sovereigns and a foreign trip. ACV will telecast the show at 20.00 on all days.
