Carnatic music
Shree Mookambika Talavadya Sangeetha Kalashaale and Ananya GML Academy will present a vocal music concert on July 27, Sunday, 10.30 a.m. The venue is Ananya Auditorium, 91/2, 4th Main Road, Malleswaram, Bangalore.
R.K. Padmanabha will render Carnatic music with C.N. Chandrashekar on violin and B.C. Manjunath on mridanga and S. Shreeshylan on ghata.
They are also organising a Mridanga Workshop on the August 9 and 10. This will be conducted by Sangeetha Kalanidhi Dr. T. K. Murthy, who will teach bani, finger techniques, koraippu, muktaya, mohara and teermana.
The workshop will be conducted at Sri Vani Education Centre, No. 1246, 4th Main Road, E Block, II Stage, Rajajinagar, Bangalore 560010.
