The award-winning show which delves into all the politico-socio-economic aspects of everyday life and hosted for the past 14 years by T.N.Gopakumar, has completed 700 episodes.

The programme, which holds a mirror to current events in Kerala, has won numerous awards for its kaleidoscopic presentation of issues that cover a wide range of topics. Instead of merely presenting the news, ‘Kannadi’ acted as a catalyst to form and collate public opinion on several occasions. Each episode strived to articulate the problems of the under privileged.

To celebrate a milestone, episodes 700 and 701 will focus on the tales of those whose lives have been changed on account of the monetary help offered by viewers of the show.
