Historic matter

Sudeep has just returned from a hectic schedule in Bangkok where three songs of his forthcoming film “Theertha” was shot. This film directed by Sadhu Kokila has Mumbai-based Saloni being paired with Sudeep. Anant Nag plays another important role in this film which has director Sadhu himself playing the role of the comedian in the film. Guru Kiran has composed the music for this film. Meanwhile Sudeep who is busy directing “Veera Madakari” for producer Dinesh Gandhi had to leave immediately for the shooting of “Veera Madakari” in Badami.

More films

Actress Ramya is not averse to sign films with new comers. She has already acted with a new comer like Adithya Babu in “Anthoo Inthoo Preethi Banthu” has signed “Ullasa” with another newcomer. Prakash who had assisted Upendra in a few films is the director of this film. Her Tamil film “Polladhavan” was a smashing hit and has paved way for many offers in Tamil. She is currently looking forward to the release of “Vaaranam Aayiram”.

Silver lining

Mumbai-based actor Nikitha’s career is rising in the Kannada film industry. Nikitha has been lucky enough to work with two big stars of the Kannada film industry in recent days, an opportunity that has not been enjoyed by any top actress in the recent times. Nikitha’s recent film “Vamshi” in which she had paired young star Puneet Rajkumar is doing well. And Nikitha has just finished the shooting of one schedule for her next release “Dubai Babu” in which Upendra is in the lead. Nikitha had made a debut to the Kannada film industry three years ago with “Maharaja” in which she co-starred Sudeep.

Debut film

Singer-actor Ravishankar who mesmerised television viewers with his role of Dr. Vittala Rao in the “Silli Lalli” comedy serial is now awaiting response to his film “Payana” which is releasing on October 17. Ravishankar is playing lead in this film which is being directed by debutant Kiran Goyi who has made a name for him in directing tele-serials. Punjabi girl Rumaneethu Chowdhary is the heroine of this film. Already the songs composed by Harikrishna for this film has become extremely popular with a song like “Manasa Gange” topping the charts. Ravishankar plays the role of a golden-hearted cabby driver in this film.
