Gandharvasangeetham Junior, the music-based reality show on Kairali TV, is approaching its finale. The show, which started in August with 72 contestants, has completed 120 episodes. Devika Balasubramaniam from Ernakulam, Abhishek from the United Arab Emirates, Sreerenjini from Thrissur, Roshan from Coimbatore, and Jyothikrishna and Sreelekshmi from Thiruvananthapuram are the six contestants vying for the top award that is in the name of K. J. Yesudas.
The six were chosen in the semi-final at Kottarakkara. What is being telecast now is the super six contest that was held in Mavelikkara where one of the six was eliminated. The finale show will be in Chennai on April 4. Judges for the show are music director Johnson Master and singers Sreenivasan and Anuradha Sriram. A Maruti Swift car awaits the winner and the most popular vote winner via sms will get a Tata Nano car.
