Tapping poetry

Ananya hosts a unique interface programme with poetry and the fine arts


Ananya and the Kannada and Culture Directorate is hosting Kaavyaalaapa, a cultural programme based entirely on Kannada poetry, that will be on till March 15.

Today, there will be a classical music concert based on Kannada poetry by M.S. Sheela, Nalina Mohan, C. Cheluvaraju and Shrishailan.

On March 14, there will again be classical concerts by S. Shankar, B. Raghuram, Druvaraj and M.A. Krishnamurti.

On March 15, there will be a music concert by Shankar Shanbagh, Vasanth Kumble, and Gurumurthy Vaidya.

This will be followed by a Bharatanatya performance by the group Bharatanjali, trained by Guru Bhanumati.

All the programmes will be from 6 p.m. onwards at Seva Sadan, 14th cross, Malleshwaram.
