Srimath Ramanujas Welfare Oraganisation has organised a two-day programme on the occasion of the 993rd Ramanuja Jayanti to be held on May 2 and 3 at Pandiyan Hall, Station Road, West Mambalam.
Special homams will be performed by Perumanallur Vangipuram Srinivasacharyar. Special abhishekam, aradhana and alankaram for Sri Ramanujar will take place on the occasion.
The special programmes on May 2 include Kalyanapuram Veeraraghavacharya’s Harikatha at 6 p.m. On May 3, a series of special homams will be performed. Bharatanatyam recital, children’s drama and upanyasam will take place in the evening.
Scolars such as Perukkaranai Chakravarthiachayrar, Madhavachariar, Sthalsayanacharyar, Pazhaveri Lakshmi Narsimhacharyar, Mannarkudi Rajgopalacharyar and Anantha Padmanabhacharyar will grace the occasion.
