Ranbir as Rocky Singh!


Ranbir Kapoor is the latest hero to be donning the Sikh look after Sunny Deol, Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan. Of couse, Sonu Sood and Sudhanshu Chatterjee gave Akshay company in Singh is King. Ranbir’s new look in Rocky Singh was recently unveiled, where he is flanked by director Shimit Amin and writer Jaideep Sahni, the Chak De duo. Rocky Singh is Yash Raj’s new production and said to be a comical coming-of-age film.

A flurry of films


The spooky 13B has done a world of good for Madhavan. The film was a commercial success and the actor has been busy signing films, by corporate and indepdent film-makers, post 13B. Maddy will be seen in films to be directed by Navdeep Singh (who directed Manorama – Six Feet Under) and Anand Rai (Strangers) apart from the film in hand — Three Idiots. Sikander, where he has a supportive role, will release in June.

‘Dostana’ returns


We’ve been hearing for some time now that a sequel for Dostana is very much on. Karan Johar and Tarun Manukhani are tight-lipped over the film but John Abraham, reportedly, confirmed that the sequel is on. Apart from Abhishek and John, Riteish Deshmukh and Shreyas Talpade are expected to be part of the film. Riteish and Shreyas are rumoured to be playing a gay couple.

A decade of ‘Kuch Kuch’


Watch out for the animation version of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Titled Kootchie Kootchie Hota Hain, the film will mark a decade of KKHH. The animation flick is being directed by Tarun Mansukhani. While SRK, Rani and Kajol will dub voices for their animation characters, Riteish Deshmukh will dub for Salman Khan.
