Drama therapy

An interactive drama workshop will focus on gender-based violence and provide men and women with an opportunity to dialogue on gender through theatre exercises.

The workshop includes trust exercises, improvisational theatre and structured gender-role-play and will be conducted by Evan Hastings.

Hastings integrates theatre of the oppressed, drama therapy and elements of Hip Hop culture into his approach to artistic social healing. He holds a masters of arts in drama therapy from the California Institute for

Integral Studies. The workshop will be held on July 4 and 5 at Vidyaranya High School. Fees: Rs.1000 per person.
