Encouraging Young talent

Nadam (Narthan Academy of Dance and Music) is celebrating its 10th anniversary. As part of its celebrations, it is hosting a two-day dance festival for children called Chinna Kala Nadam. The event will be held on July 4 and 5 at Bal Bhavan, Cubbon Park, between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. For details call 23444360.

Chanda Pustaka will launch three new books this Sunday during the event Chanda Sadagara. The books include “Godege Bareda Navilu” by Sandeep Nayak, “Kaalittalli Kaaludaari” by Sumangala and “Madilu” by Nagaraj Vastaare.

Shridhar Balagara will introduce the books, while S. Manjunath will talk on “Kaavya Nish Prayojana”.

The event will be held at the Indian Institute of World Culture, Basavanagudi, at 10 a.m.
