Hrithik says no to ‘Krrish 2’
Hrithik’s dream of taking his superhero status to the next level, after ‘Krrish,’ will have to wait. The Roshans interest in making a sequel to ‘Krrish’ has hit a roadblock as they are unable to get a suitable script. Th
ey were eager to have Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra direct the sequel, but that was before Mehra disappointed with ‘Dilli 6.’ Hrithik, it is reported, is not keen on a sequel without a good script.
Borrowed glory?
Music composer Pritam Chakraborty is in trouble yet again with plagiarism charges. ‘New York’s’ popular number ‘Hey Junoon’ was making all the right noises until a hue and cry was raised stating that the tune was a copy of ‘Naluri Lelaki’ by the Samsons. The composer vehemently denies this and says he has owned up to his ‘inspiration’ in the past for songs such as the title track of ‘Race.’
Ramu gets spooky, again
Ram Gopal Varma is not tired of making spooky thrillers yet. Talking about one of his new films, titled ‘Warning,’ he says, “If you think you have experienced everything there is to experience in fear, just wait for ‘Warning.’ It’s a 3D horror film with a 4D experience with the fourth dimension being death, pun intended!” The only member of the cast finalised so far is Riteish Deshmukh.
