Ekadasi mahotsavam

The Ashada Sukhla Sayana Ekadasi festival is being conducted by Adambakkam Sri Karpaga Vinayakar Sri Pandurangan Baktha Samajam and Sri Vittal Bhajan Mandali from June 30 to July 3 at Sri Karpaga Vinayakar Pandurangan Temple, Adambakkam.

Today (July 3) being the Ashada Ekadasi day, special abishekams will be performed to the Moolavar idol from 6.30 to 10 a.m. followed by bhajan renditions.

There will be ‘Sparisa Darisanam,’ of the deity till 7 p.m. when devotees are allowed to enter the sanctum sanctorum and worship the Lord by touching His feet.

In the evening, the utsava idols will be taken out in a procession.

The festival began on June 30 with musical discourse by S. Janakirama Bhagavatar.

Rukmini Kalyanam was performed on July 2 at 6.30 p.m. For further details dial 2260 1137/2260 4569.
