Award for Vani Jairam

In recognition of her immense contribution to music and the Indian film industry for more than four decades, Jayadhaarini Trust, Chennai, will honour singer Vani Jairam with the Jayaratna Award on August 7, 6 p.m., at RK Swamy Auditorium (opp. RR Sab ha), Sundareswarar St., Mylapore. Veterans from various fields will participate.

A sound and light show, ‘Isaiyodu Vani Jairam,’ comprising an exclusive collection of her songs has also been organised for the occasion.
